I started MFP over 1 year ago- when my twins were 12 months old. I was able to lose 10 lbs with just diet alone. Then A LOT happened and I gained it all back, and more. I now weigh 20 lbs more than I did when I was 8.5 months pregnant with TWINS!!! I have been working out aggressively, and netting 1200 GOOD calories per day. I haven't lost 1 lb! It has only been two weeks, I am trying not to get discouraged, but I am ready for the weight to come off! My girls will be 2 in December!
15 LBS is a great goal- if only I could start seeing a change happening!!!0 -

I like sugary things a lot. I bought Atkins snack. One or two grams of sugar and the sugar alcohols don't really count. I get sweets and fiber and stay under my calorie goals, even on sugar.0

Losing .5 to a pound a week...yeah that's doable for me but not 15...maybe 8. slow and steady. if I lose too fast, I will gain it all back. my body likes losing slowly these days. any little loss per week is a victory. I will keep at it!0

Will give this a go. Completed a half marathon 3 weeks ago and decided to take a week off and stuff my face but disaster struck 2 weeks ago - my lower back went and I have hardly been able to move. So, I need inspiration. Stop the take away pizzas, the beer, no more cigarettes and start eating healthily and stop abusing my body and thinking it doesn't matter because I can always exercise it off. Oh, and no more crisps which are really my downfall! Add me if you wish. Good luck!0

I think ill take part in this to, I actually want to lose 20 by xmas I was logging on spark people an have dropped 30 pounds in the last 9 weeks, but I recently bought a fitbit an mfp seems to be better for logging so this challenge will keep me motivated.

You can do it. Workout and choose a diet plan!
Maybe start off with a low carb diet, drop that 15 lbs and slowly ease in carbs after you reach your goal (so you don't blow up like a carb puffer fish).
