So, I was thinking about starting C25K in a few months, but here is my questions, is it something you have to buy, or can I get the information I need to do it online? Thanks

You can totally get it for free online, including a treadmill version if that's your poison, and there are plenty of free apps for your phone too. I have a free c25k app from ZenLabs on my phone and it works great.

Hiya, you can get all the info you need (free) online....

And you can download podcasts for each run so you can have a "personal trainer" in your ear telling you when to walk and when to run....

There are loads of other podcasts out there, this is just one example....

    Hope that helps!

You can easily find the program online for free. There's also an app that will allow you to sync music, I think that might be 99cents though.

Here is the basic program: http://www.coolrunning.com/engine/2/2_3/181.shtml

I myself got to week 5 but then traveling for work derailed me. I've been wanting to get back into it.

I used the rundouble app. It has a free part of the app that includes a GPS tracker, and networks with various HR monitors, but it also has a purchase options of the same app that lets you try various different timed and distance runs. There is also a 10K starter plans, and 5K and 10K improver options.

You can get it from your app store on your smartphone, there's a free version and a pay version. I have the free version not sure of the difference since I'm a newbie too to C25K.

there are other podcasts available too, on itunes. i used the NHS one. the music is techno, if that would turn you off (it's not my thing, but i found it kinda fun to run to in the end). NHS also has a couch to 5k +, for when you graduate, that works you through speed, endurance and intervals.
