For Various reasons, my Gastro doctor has me on several food restrictions..
The wides category is "Dairy Free" I find it difficult to add foods omitting certain food items.
Such as a Chef Salad with no cheese, or tomatoes.
Has anyone found simplified ways to add meals with restrictions not easily found?

I make most of my family meals home cooked. Under recipes you can add ingredient by ingredient and save it. This makes it easier to add it at other times. If it is a one time meal I just add it ingredient by ingredient.

    Hey there -

The easiest way I've found is to add each component separately. For example, a salad for me would be:
    Romaine or spinach, 2 cups
    Bell peper, 1/2
    Tomato, 1/2
    Avocado, 1/4

Then of that's something you eat regularly, save it to your meals do you don't have to do it individually again.

By the way, I'm a vegan so I eat dairy-free also. Feel free to add me as a friend if you want some meal ideas =)

as listed above add each item separately or you can just subtract that guess of the cheese. A 1 ounce (28 grams) of cheese is about 100-120 calories, the tomatoes have very little calorie content so I would not worry too much about that. So you could just subtract the estimate of the cheese from the total. Like if you got the salad from a restaurant, then don't add the full serving, add what ever would be about 100 calories less. Like you would add 0.9 of the salad instead of a full serving.

Feel free to add me as a friend. I have ALOT of diet restrictions
