Infrared Body Wraps

Let me begin with, I know the best thing for weight loss is a healthy diet and exercise. I am on a healthy diet and I have been exercising. I've lost weight this way and plan to continue to do so.
My question is, has anyone had TEMPORARY good results with the infrared body wraps? If so, what has your experience been like? How long did it last?
I am going on a cruise in two weeks and a friend that works at a spa recommended that I come in and try out the body wrap before I go. She said it may help me feel a little bit better with my stomach in my swimsuit. She did admit that it's not a permanent fix or a miracle but people do see a loss in inches. She said I should come in about 3 days before I leave for the cruise and have it done. I'm considering it but it's expensive. I don't think she would scam me because we're friends but I'm still leery of it because it just doesn't seem like it is legit.
So if you have experience let me know. How long did it last? If it only lasts a day or two then it wouldn't be worth it. I'm looking for someone to say it maybe lasted a week or two.

HI
Save your money and continue with eating at a deficit plus your activity.
Your "friend" is either very misguided or I suspect she may be making money for bringing people to this "product".
If that "cure" would ever work, there would not be any obese people in the world.
Any body weight loss is just water weight.
I bet the "product' has in small letters " it is better to use it in conjunction with healthy eating and exercise"

I did one a few years ago (i only did it because i was getting a huge discount!) and it was really nice. It felt good, I lost some inches, but more than anything, my skin had a wonderful glow and was super soft! So I say go for it! It's not going to hurt anything! I actually ended up buying an infrared sauna that is similar, but not as targeted and I love it. Feels so yummy!0

If it is expensive I wouldn't do it, but I'm not going on a cruise. It will be water weight that causes those inches lost. You need to remember that those inches will most likely come back on even if you continue eating right and exercising. She is right that it will make you feel better about your body in a bathing suit, but as long as you don't get derailed when the inches come back.0
