30lbs

Three months ago I started this journey. I thought it would take me until the end of the year to reach my initial goal of 30lbs. Well, as of this morning I am down 31lbs. My last weigh in was Thursday and I was at 203.4. Today I was at 199.8. So, who knows what I will be at my next weigh in Thursday. The reason I'm posting this right now is that I finally fit COMFORTABLY in a size smaller. I bought two pairs of jeans yesterday (as my jeans required a belt and some good suspenders to not fall off of me). I have hated shopping for clothes, but yesterday I wanted to cry happy tears. Even though I can't see my weightloss--I know it is happening. I'm so happy withmyself and I ccouldn't do it without the support I have found here.

  • Congratulations! 30lbs in 3 months is a fantastic result! Are you just doing diet/exercise or taking any supplements? Either way, keep it up!

I take a lot of vitamins...just because my food choice is terrible. I haven't drank a glass of milk since I was 4...and I'm 37. So I daily take a multivitamin, calcium with D, fish oil, biotin, bcomplex, and glucosine chondric (or whatever it is called). I have lost 30lbs by diet and exercise. Although--I have repeatedly injured myself exercising too much. So I have taken a week off. I'm so proud of myself. I am 5'6, 37yrs old, started at 230lbs on 8/1. It is 11/1 and I'm 199. I was one of the people on here doing 1200 calories. I just upped it to 1400. I feel better and still losing. No diet pills. Just hard work and determination!!!
  • I love myself some inspiration! Isn't it the best to see pounds just dropping off your body after you eat less and work out like crazy? As they say, nothing tastes as good as skinny feels)

Agreed! All the times I resisted binging on junk food are paying off. Still have a long way to go.

You have helped me. My next goal is 25lbs. I know I can do it. I hope by my bday in April, but even if it is longer it will be ok. I feel like hugging people today. Lol
