yes it is
if you do weights, you should eat something beforehand, but not directly beforehand. cardio on an empty stomach is fine for most people
eat a good breakfast afterwards0 -
Many people often workout in the am, myself included. The only issue I struggle with is I don't eat breakfast (can't usually eat until I've been up a few hours) so depending on your personal morning routine it may or may not suit but theres no reason not to if it does suit0

If it works for you, it's a good idea. My husband is up at 4am tones t the gym when. It opens at 5. I've found that it's easier to get my workout in in the am as well, so I work out at home at the same time (while our kids are sleeping). This works for both of us. We don't lose family times the evenings, I don't have the"I'm so tired after work" excuse, and if I want to get in a jog outside after work, I can, but I don't "have to" because I've already gotten something in.0

I love working out in the morning. It is uncrowded, quiet and it gives me energy for the rest of the day
The trick is to eat enough but not to much before working out.
Eating to much will cause your stomach to require all the blood for digesting the foods you ate.
Eating to little will result in little energy.
Try to find a good balance in this and you will be fine ;-)0 -
I prefer to workout in the morning. It is peaceful and afterwards I just feel accomplished. It puts me in a better mood for the day.0
