Have Ab separation? Have stretch marks?

If you had ab separation and if you are 0-10 months post-partum, I recommend the Bellefit. I had really bad ab separation so at 3 months post-partum, I got it and it shrunk my stomach all the way down. I got the medium first and then the small. They are pricey, but they were worth it for me.

If you have stretch marks, I'd try one of those body wraps which are supposed to help "get rid of fat." I tried it hoping it would take some fat off my stomach lol, but it did not. What it do was drastically reduced the appearance of my stretch marks.

My results are real and so am I lol. I'm trying to keep my seven month old baby from typing lol.

I had a c-section, and I still have a small pouch. I lost all the weight from my pregnancy though. I'm 22 years old.

I'm not saying it will or will not work for you, but these are what I tried, and I had success with.

Okay...well I'm only writing this because they did work for me... The Bellefit brought my stomach down within a few weeks. Do you know what ab separation is?? And, that wrap reduced the appearance of my red stretch marks. I find it absurd you would say it didn't work for me when you are not me. I said they may or may not work for everyone. You know, I can't stand it when people say something doesn't work when they never tried it. Were you there with me when I was crying because I did know what to help with my ab separation? Are you my husband who saw it bring my ab separation down? Did you see what my stretch marks look like after I gave birth? And did you see me laugh and tell my husband that the wrap didn't get rid any fat, but it made my stretch marks not red anymore? So, please tell me how you are qualified to say it doesn't work.

You cannot fix abdominal separation with a girdle. You have to have muscle repair done I know because I have had it. Also I have tons of stretch mark from 6 children and NOTHING is going to get rid of them they are tears in the lower layers no wrap, girdle, cream or anything is going to get rid of them. They will only lighten over time. I do believe either you are kidding yourself or you are not being 100% truthful.

You will find that "selling" your product here will not only fail miserably, but it's also against the rules

    Do your homework :grumble:

I don't "sell" anything. I'm a stay at home mom who saw on here that other moms struggled with these problems so I thought I'd post what helped me. I guess it is not okay to say what worked for me.

I have stretch marks from having kids. They fade a bit over time naturally with zero help, but they never go away.

I had abdominal separation after having kids. A quality full body lifting routine including compound lifts did wonders, but for many women it self corrects within the first two years.

No need to spend money on anything special.

My ab separation was horrible. I used these products over four months ago so I already used them. I'm glad what worked for you worked. I just wanted to say what helped me.

I wonder if your stretch marks just healed and faded up some naturally after your postpartum along with your shrinking stomach and since you were using the Bellefit at the time, you may be giving it more credit than its due?

I will try to post pictures if I can find any. I'm a very honest person so I wouldn't say something worked for me in the past if it didn't.

I know you are being kind to me. I just feel like I'm not being taken at my word. My husband told me that my stretch marks looked a lot less red after I put the wrap on. I'm a very honest person so I would never give false information to lead people astray. I understand people are skeptical of products, but at 3 months post-partum, I was desperate to find something that worked for me. Most girdles do not help with diastasis recti, but this company, Bellefit, said they did so I thought to myself, "If it works then great, if not then it is what it is." Honestly, the reduction of the reddening from the stretch marks was not my goal as you can see from my op, but it was just nice. I still have stretch marks, but they are not red at all on my stomach anymore.

Thank you. :) Yes, so this is me now. My stomach is all the way down (meaning the inner muscles). I still have a small pouch from my c-section.

ok... i walked under a tree and an apple fell. does that mean that a) the apple was going to fall anyway, or b) if you want an apple just walk under a tree because it worked for me!

    see how that works?

my abs are split ribs to pubes. my youngest is 12 years old. i've seen a doc and a physio who both agreed, only an op can fix them but keeping them toned & tight can reduce the risk of problems (like back pain).

I'm sorry you suffered from that. Sigh..all I was simply doing was saying that it helped me and it could possibly help other moms. I posted my pics so you can see that it helped me. I even said in my op that it may or may not work for everyone.

    it doesn't bother me.

my point has clearly been lost here. logical fallacies reign supreme!

i had 2 c-sections. Exercise fixes this, even quite gentle exercise. It has to be the right kind of exercise, as some kinds of exercise can make it worse. But even some basic exercises like walking will hasten the process, so I would concur with the others that you're probably giving this product more credit than it's due. You may have had the same results without using this product at all, especially with regards to the ab muscles separation.

I never used any products at all, but the abs muscle separation fixed itself. I took my babies for walks and did the abdominal exercises the hospital physio told me to do. And stretch marks fade on their own to some extent. This is why scientists insist on control groups when studying the effect of medical intervention (i.e. a group that doesn't get the intervention, for comparison) because with most medical conditions people tend to get better on their own over time, and doctors have to prove that the medicine/intervention makes them get better more quickly and/or more completely than the control group. So you can see why people on the thread are sceptical, both these things are things that get better on their own in most cases, so you'll have a hard job proving that it's this device that had the effect and that it wouldn't have happened by itself without the device.

Yeah, I agree with this also. I didn't have a c-section. I did not have any separation after my first baby, and a very small separation after the second. I did the simple exercises of slowly pulling my abs all the way in, holding it, and pulsing it. I did this many times through out the day. It's like doing kegels, except for your abs. And those exercises also helped me to make sure I was pulling my abs in during other exercises, and not pushing them out. And I started back to Pilates when my baby was 5 months old. I also walked and did some strength training for my full body. Then once it was healed up great, I started doing more weights. Pilates and yoga was good in the beginning for me. It was gentle, but effective when I was healing. And it helped me feel comfortable in my body again (as a dancer).
