I started counting calories using this site back in November, but really started to get into it January of this year. I bought a food scale off of Amazon, dug out the measuring cups and spoons, and literally measured and logged everything I ate (and I still do!) I lost around 70lbs just by reducing calories alone. In August I began doing an hour of Taekwondo four days a week, and it has literally been the best decision I have ever made on both a mental and physical level.
