Microwave popcorn calories?

So I love my microwave popcorn with butter.

Im confused though, serving size is 1 cup popped, 2tbsp I believe unpopped.

It says servings per bag is 3.
But so much pops and I actually measured it out once ( in measuring ) cups.
I got like 9 - 10 cups.

Am I missing something? I feel like its voodoo magic.
I dont want to underlog.

Not too sure what your talking about, but 1 cup of popped popcorn is only around 36 calories.

A good serving size is about 3 cups which is about 120 calories, but if your adding butter to it, its probably a lot more...

I'm pretty sure the serving size on the last box I bought was 3 cups popped. Double check your box's serving size. Microwave popcorn annoys me because it tends to say one thing in the nutritional information and something different on other parts of the box.

Popcorn is a great snack. I don't like microwave popcorn, though, just popcorn popped in my old fashioned popcorn popper with a teaspoon of oil. Delicious!

Just buy the 100 calorie bags - a lot easier than doing all the math! A big bag is several hundred calories.

Making stovetop popcorn in a pot is great for this. 3 tablespoons popcorn+1/2 tablespoon oil=A delicious bowl of popcorn at only 180 calories.

I love 100 calorie popcorn bags. It's such an easy way to have 100 calories, and it takes awhile to eat, so you feel like you really spent time eating. It's great for that last little snack before bedtime.

If you buy Orville's 94% fat free (butter) microwave popcorn and eat the whole bag it should only be around 120 cals. Popcorn is awesome in that you can eat a huge bag of it and feel full but the calories are still very low.

Don't eat the whole bag unless it's a 100 calorie bag or you're eating more that you think.

As long as its the SmartPop or 94% FF kind..it shouldnt be a problem. 6.5 cups of popcorn is only about 120-130 cals. That's not too bad at all.

My single serve bag of Orville's SmartPop is 100 calories - hard to believe a bag double or triple the size is only 20-30 more calories.
