Soy Sauce

I love rice, but I have a hard time eating it without soy sauce. I also make a homemade fried rice type of recipe. I am currently using soy sauce in it, does anyone know of a good alternative to soy sauce? I am trying to cut down on the sodium (it has rice, eggs, onion, mrs. dash, and soy sauce).

Thanks for the help!!

  • I'm not sure if anyone has replied to you yet but low sodium soy sauce is an alternative. Most major grocery stores will have this available right next to the regular stuff. Hope this helps.

I love soy sauce too! I found a brand of soy sauce that has about 1/2 the sodium of less sodium Kikkoman. It's called World Harvest Angostura Lite Soy Sauce, and it has 10 calories and 390 mg of sodium per tablespoon. MUCH better than the other brands.
