Harder or longer?

You like that title, eh?
I've noticed my calorie burn decreasing with each workout recently! I go 3 miles on the elliptical at resistance intervals of 5 then 8. I I'm generally in the gym around an hour. Should I bump the resistance higher or go for more miles?

Intensity over duration always! It increases your calorie burn post workout for longer.0

I tend to agree, intensity over mileage. I work out in the morning and due to limited time I have to up my intensity.
But be careful, my former work-out buddy kept showing off and getting injured. Take it slow0 -

Personally, I like it harder and longer!
Okay, seriously though, I would go longer. Speed will catch up, work on your endurance.0
