I have now been dieting for almost 4 weeks and husband for 3. It is working as I have lost 15.5lb and husband has lost 10.5lb. My problem is because we have cut out fried foot, which we used to eat a lot of ( chips/frys) I am not finding it difficult to meal pla.
Does anyone else have this problem ?

Yes, meal planning is difficult for me. I've found some great ideas at the following:

Hope that helps.0 -
i'd love to have you stop by my blog and maybe get inspired by my weekly supper meal plan. i like a lot of variety, but always include a veggie (or two) and a fruit. it might encourage you to try something you've never had before. i also share some recipes occassionally.

I mostly eat the same foods... just the healthier version... I have used the Weight watchers chix strips recipe instead of eating the fried kind. We eat burgers but they are made at home with very lean beef... Instead of chips I eat apples... it's still crunchy right?? lol. Making homemade soups have helped me A LOT... as they are filling and have very little calories (as long as you dont opt for the cream soups..lol). I make a BIG pot of a diff soup every week... so we can eat healthy even if we are short on time or on the go. Not to mention, you can make diff salads... there are so many to choose from that I doubt you'd get bored. Congrats on the weight loss... keep it up0

I'm pretty good at it when I plan out a week's worth of meals at a time. I pull out a couple of cookbooks or magazines and make my shopping list from the meals I choose. Then I try to decide the night before which thing I want to make for dinner, in case anything needs to be taken out of the freezer. This, of course, does not always work and sometimes I end up scrambling eggs for everyone's dinner!
My problem is the rest of the day -- I've been really good so far but I am so used to shoving in the kids' uneaten breakfast or anything else that can be "grabbed" -- and it takes a lot of effort to cook for myself, it seems like such a waste of time!0 -
Visit eatingwell.com for some very healthful recipes. You can also pick up a copy of the Eating Well magazine and/or a Clean Eating magazine both of which have nothing but healthy, easy recipes. We do all of our meal planning from Clean Eating magazines and haven't yet had a recipe that we didn't love!
Hope this helps! Good luck! (and congrats on your progress so far! )0 -
I suggest http://themealplanner.blogspot.com/ every week you get a meal plan. plus a color coded shopping list!0
