They can't all be like me?

So when I am out, having a massively caloric meal - as in, probably 2,000 calories in one sitting - which is a typical restaurant meal with a coctail. Or going to a Donut Plant, or Lady M cake boutique for dessert.... I notice that other patrons around me are mostly thin (upper east side, midtown, Tribecca).
I am thin, and yes, I am eating like that too at that moment. But, I am very aware of what I am eating, I plan those cheat meals into my week, and I work out 5 times a week (not the last two weeks, but that was an exception).
It is unlikely that ALL those other patrons are all putting in the same kind of effort into fitness and nutrition. Just statistically.
I wonder if there is such thing as "naturally thin"?
Or you think that all of those cafe patrons also eating what probably is a 700 calorie slice of cake are thin because they are working on it in exactly the same way?

Without following all of those people around 24/7, there's no way to know.
Some people only eat large meals in restaurants/special occasions and eat small amounts every other time. Some people exercise a lot. Some people do drugs. Some people get liposuction. Some people have thyroid issues that result in very high metabolisms.
And some of those people are probably budgeting their calories for a treat. Who knows?0 -
It's not that they are just thin, it's that they normally eat less through out the day, and probably don't always have a 2000 calorie meal everytime they go out. They probably don't eat out as much, and there is a good chance a lot of those people workout too.0

You are not a special snowflake. Neither are they. What makes you think that not everyone can put forth the effort that you do?0

Metabolism is weird sometimes and for some people. I dated a guy who could not put on weight, no matter what. I would watch him eat two large pizzas and drink a six pack nearly every night, or some variation. He probably ate about 5000+ calories a day and never worked out. He was very thin and the weight he did have on him was all lean muscle. I on the other hand had no issues gaining weight eating less than half of what he did and working out everyday...0

I do think some people are naturally slim. My brother is an example. He blinks and you can see his metabolism shooting through the sky. He seems to eat anything and not gain a pound. He's one of those people who listens to his stomach and stops when he's not hungry anymore, thus he eats enough to maintain.0
