Hello,
I'm going for a walk today and if you would like to "join" me that would be great. Any speed/distance welcome.
I'd love to know the most interesting thing you saw on your walk or something that felt good. I'll report back with my findings when I'm done. I may do two walks today...but I'll play it by ear.
Hope you choose to have a good day!

I went for a walk, and I saw a... ghost.
Just kidding.
Thanks for this, I didn't really plan on doing anything except reading some books for uni, but I saw this thread and went for a good 20-minute walk on the campus trail and now I feel much better.
The most interesting thing I saw was a duck pond, with the sign "Danger! Keep out of the water!" next to it. Made me thing what kind of creatures live in that duck pond. I guess that's what you get for listening to "Welcome to Night Vale" while walking.0 -
Nice, Saxonvoter! (and funny)
I finished my walk. I did 28 minutes. The thing I saw that I enjoyed the most was a birch tree that was leafless and bent in a curve overhanging the canal I walked next to. The reflection was really cool because the tip of the birch was nearly touching the water so it looked like a birch tree oval.
Anyone else?
I'm thinking of walking later too. I'll check in again later!

Thank you. This morning I thought "I should go for a walk today." Your post gave me the shove I needed to actually get out the door. I walked for about an hour and an half! I was nicer out than I expected,so figured I'd better enjoy it now while I have the chance. The colors were really beautiful, especially the reds on some of the burning bushes in our neighborhood. Also saw a bunch of Canadian geese in a stark field of cornstalks and a few mallard ducks. Thanks again.0

I took my pudgy little doggie for a walk at a track today Our walks at home involve more stopping than walking, lol.
We didn't see anything interesting, but I enjoyed watching him walk it very much. He was confused when we were through because we didn't go anywhere, lol! We had a fun time0 -
kowlady and cafeaulait...so glad you "joined" me. It's nice to know others have a hard time getting out there but do it anyway and then enjoy it!
I didn't go for a second walk because I ended up having a food intolerance issue after breakfast. I just ate dinner and if I'm feeling well in an hour or so I'm going to do a little strength training.
Thanks all!:happy:0
