Im Autymn im 25 years old, im 245 lbs I have a 2 year old daughter, and my entire family is extremely obese.. I have not support from them but I want to be healthy for my daughter. Im 5'6 and I want to be atleast 145 lbs. I love food, and feel like im addicted to it. I have little money, so buying a lot of food to make recipes is not going to happen, so I don't have a lot of flexibility with food. I don't know how many calories a day I consume. The other thing right now is I have a broken ankle, but ive been trying to eat healthy since im laid up in bed. How many calories do I need to consume a day to loose weight at a healthy rate. especially if I cant really exercise.

If you can, you should always check with your doctor, but 1,200 calories is the bare minimum if you're not under a doctor's care. I say that because when under a doctor's care, sometimes they allow you to eat half of that amount, which I think is way too extreme. In any event, I too love food. Try to make healthier choices. For example, before you crave chocolate or pizza (my other two loves) ask yourself, why are you craving that and are you really hungry?0

Okay sometimes I really crave lets just say something sweet like chocolate, or my love tacobell. Once in a while as long as I stay within calories, is it okay if I eat those foods? or is It just going to ruin everything.. Or im just going to have to eat veggies and fruit everyday?0
