C25k Jogging/Running Intervals

Hi everyone - I have a quick question.
I am currently doing the C25K program again (did about half of it a year ago and fell off the wagon). I jog at 5.1 mph and walk at 3.5 mph. Currently, I am doing it 3 times a week, but after each workout I am also doing 10 minutes of running/walking intervals (running at 6.3 and walking at 3.5).
Is this okay? Should I just stick to doing the C25k program and cut out the extra running/walking intervals?
I appreciate the advice!

When I did the C25K, I did way more walking/running intervals than what was on the program. I just didn't feel like I was getting a good enough workout otherwise.0

I feel the same, so I figured I'd just add some faster & shorter intervals to help my progress.0 -
I did the same thing when I was doing C25K, until it got more challenging. I felt it prepared me better for the later weeks. I would say if you are not having any pain issues...do it.0
