Honestly i would just give in to the cravings, just try to use moderation or a low calories option. For chocolate cravings i eat the cocoa roasted almonds or 60 calorie pudding. I have found that if you dont give in to the monthly cravings you will end up binging big time! Good luck0

i have a similar problem, I just crave salt. I would rather have salt than chocolate. I just have to drink a lot more water. Keep yourself preoccupied during those days. Try to exercise for 10 extra minutes if you are doing cardio and burn some extra calories. You can still satisfy your craving, you just have to work with portion control. Eat what you crave and then get to work burning off those extra calories. that you will you satisfy your craving and then burn off the guilt!0

I usually break down a bit and have a CONTROLLED portion of dark chocolate Also the low cal kraft puddings are good.0

I posted something similar to your question...I eat whatever I crave but just in small portion size because if you don't when you do eventually eat it, you will stuff your face and end up eating to much... Good luck! :bigsmile:0

Just talking about carbs makes me want to run to Olive Garden! Hey, at least I want to run there, that is something, right?
I totally wanted to snack during that time. So instead, I worked out. If I got the munchies I pulled out the weights and did some curls while watching tv. I went for a walk or I guzzled water. Did anything of these things satisfy the craving? OF COURSE NOT! What they did do was make me feel good about myself, instead of being depressed because it’s that time and I caved I felt good because I stuck to it during a difficult time. My body rewarded me by making my period come and go a lot faster than normal.
I would rather slip up and have sweets on days when my body doesn’t demand them and it is my choice rather than on days when my body is controlling me. I want to be in charge!0
