New years Resolutions. Why bother?

New Years resolutions rarely seem to work. Most of the time people use weight loss and fitness goals as a filler for the resolution spot but never take appropriate action to meet those goals. Why wait until the New Year to challenge yourself? Let's do it now before Thanksgiving and Christmas slap on those love handles! I know that its not easy... it doesn't happen overnight... But if you are willing, I have the way... and I PROMISE that it will be SO worth it, not just on the outside, but on the inside too. Where do YOU want to be in 60-90 days? We can Do This Together! My next challenge group starts November 11th, there are few more spots left and it doesn't matter who you are as long as you are determined - first come first serve!
PM me now to reserve your spot!
If it is important to you, you will find a way. If not you'll find an excuse.

I hate it at the gym right after New Year. So bloody crowded. By mid February the crowds are gone, thankfully.0

Last year at christmas time I made a new years resolution to lose weight and get in shape. I've had a few slow points where I fell off the wagon but I got back on and 10 months later i'm down 90 pounds and still going strong. So sometimes resolutions do work, if you're commited.0

Yeah, going to the gym sucks after the New Year for those who go that commit to starting their resolution its a mess. I had a membership to Gold's years ago and every year I avoided the gym right after the new year . I work out at home and save on the gym fees now. Plus there are always people at the gym and I wasn't always happy with the social parts of working out at a gym.0 -

Resolutions work for sure! I am not saying that they never work. I think that it is just that people make a resolution at New Years to have something to push towards or they do it because a friend is doing it. Most of the time the idea fizzles away. I know i am guilty of it and other friends of mine are too. I am saying why wait. Do something bigger now. Don't wait for an approaching new year and let it dictate what you can do now. Some people will actually say " I am making that my new Years resolution" but it is really just an excuse to put it off till later.0 -
Resolutions at the beggining of this year -
Learn to swim
Complete a half marathon
Complete a 13 mile hill walk . . .
All of the above done + 3 1/2 marathons. They do work if you want, dedication required

I HATE NYR's!! I also hate when people say they can't wait to work on weight loss on the first of next month, when the first of next month is like 2 weeks away xD Like why not start TODAY.? WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR??
i am sure that these same people are still fat a year later, or fatter. :sick:0
