Ladies Who Are 5'9, What Is Your Goal Weight?

I am 5'9 and my goal is to get to 220, then 180, and ultimately 165. What are your weight goals???

I'm 5'10" and I'd love to get down to 160.0

I'm 5'10 as well! I'd love to get back down to 160-165lbs. I got back down to 155 a few years ago and felt great but I think I looked great at 165 and that seems more realistic.0

I'm 5'9.5 and I was 138 at the beginning of the summer and really liked it. However I'm emphasizing heavy lifting a lot more now, so I'd be very content with 145 if it was a lot of muscle (I'm right around 145 right now, but not as much muscle as I would like).

I am shooting for 170 right now, then I'll see where I want to go from there.0

I'm 5'9'' and my goal was 170, but I'm at 165 and I'm happy with that. I got down to 158 a few years back, but I think I looked funny because my head was still too big. HA! I also considered what I could reasonably maintain. Trying to maintain 158 was hard work. I am finding it much easier to maintain the 165.:bigsmile:0

5'9" and CW is 147 I would like to get down to whatever weight it is that gives me a flat stomach. For now my GW is at 143lbs but I will start weight training this month so let's where it will lead me.
ETA. I won't mind to weigh more afterwards as long as my stomach is flat.0 -

I'm 5' 9" and my current weight is 161. I'd love to get down to around 150 which I was about two years ago! Working hard and have dropped down from 170 which was my SW.0

I am 5'8 and I am sitting at 168 right now, I would like to get to 145 and as long as I could maintain between 145-150 I would be extremely happy0

180. I have hips and at 180 my curves look killer. If I could get down to that , I'd be thrilled!0

I'm 5'8, and at my smallest (and hottest and fittest), I was 139-144lbs. Its where I want to be once again.0

I'm about 5'8". Starting weight: 240 (after second baby) Current weight: 159 Goal weight: 150 (maybe eventually 140-145) I'm still eating at a deficit and juuuust started doing some HIIT at home again. (I worked out steadily for about 4 months then "forgot" about weight loss for a few months) i will be happy when I don't feel so flabby. If that's 158 - cool!! If it's 140...well I'll get there. 180 is my current goal, and once I'll get there I see if I want to go any smaller. I've haven't been below 300 as an adult, so I have no idea what to expect when I get that low!0

I'm 5' 10" and sorta looking at 174 which would take me into my proper BMI range. BUT I'm not sure I really buy into the BMI thing, so I'm still not sure!! Ha! Hovering around 200 right now but just started strength training, so I think I'm just going to see where my body settles out. I'm interested in y'all's answers as well SW 2750

My goal is to get to 160 and see how I look there. If I'm not happy and feel I could lose a little more, then I'll aim for those last 10 pounds to get to 150.0

I'm 5'9" and my current goal is 140. I think I'm going to need to bump that down a bit to get my butt and belly where I want them. The only time I was ever that low as an adult was back when I was working full time, studying for my Masters at night, and partying my hiney off on the weekend. That was a LONG time ago. I don't really care about the number, just the shape.0

My goal is to get down to 140. Does anyone have advice that lost/wants to lose a similar amount? I don't know if I am at a plateau or if my body is getting used to my routine? I am feeling very discouraged.0

I can relate! I dropped the first 10-12 pounds in a few weeks and thought this was going to be easy. Then I got stuck for 2 months bouncing around the same couple of pounds. Just the last few weeks my weight has dropped again like it literally fell off that plateau. If you're certain you're recording your calories accurately and not eating too much or too little, just stick with it. Weight loss is definitely not linear. Reading these boards is a big help, especially the pinned posts at the top.0 -
I'm 5'9" and my goal weight is 130 for now. I'm kicking around some ideas of where I want to go from here, but I may just maintain for a while. I don't know if I want/need to, but in order to push beyond my lifting, I may have to put on some more muscle.0

Im 5'9 and 152 currently. Goal weight is low to mid 130's.0

My goal is set at 150 but I will see how I look/feel when I get closer to that weight. I'm not set on it. I just want to like my body and feel comfortable and feel like I look good. I have some serious hips and I wouldn't want to ever look bony so I'm cool with whatever looks good on my frame.0

When I hit 170, I thought, "Oh no." Love handles galore.
Now I'm in the mid-140s. Much better.
My goal weight is around 140. Then I'll decide if I want to head to 135. I probably won't but you never know. I don't have a small frame so I might not like how it looks eventually.0 -
I an 5'8". When I started this journey, I thought 164 would be great.
Now that I get closer to that goal, I realized that I will have to go a bit lower on the weight to get comfortable. This realization came as I started to see my body more clearly, and seeing that the camera was not lying. I was to myself.
I am not sure that number final number will be, so will take it in 5 lb goals.

I'm 5' 9" and can't remember the last time I was under 200 lbs ... maybe 5th grade. So under 200 would be nice and then to see what every 10 lbs under that feels like. I dont want to be too thin.0
