Lol. Sassy! They don't have a lot of those types of exercises. I wish they had programs like insanity or body revolution. Most of the time I google it and input what I think is the closest calories and exercise I can get. This is where a monitor comes in handy.0 -
Hello! I can see your point since they do have things like frisbee playing in the database. Who knows how much effort that is taking, right? (They also have carpentry, auto repair, etc...I can see how you might want Balance Ball or Balance Ball Routine)
Assuming you are using the ball for exercise such as this: .....http://www.ball-exercises.com/workout-routines/index.html..... You could use light aerobics or calisthenics as an estimate or placeholder in your journal. You can use your HRM to figure out how hard you are working when completing your routines and adjust your entry according to the calories. The heart rate monitor will tell you the information you need on calories burned. You can also create your own exercise called Balance Ball Routine as an option.

Because its a piece of 'equipment' and not an actual exercise. If you are doing strength training with free weights; than that is what you would use; strength training. It you are doing crunches/sit ups then look that up and use that information.0 -

Playing frisbe is an activity; as is bowling, golf, and ???
Yes they need to add in the newer things like Insanity and such; and maybe those who want that added need to send a msg. to MFP people. They just recently added Zumba so maybe they are working on it.0 -
It really is an exercise, there are a lot of core strengthening exercises that can be done on a ball. there are a lot of exercises they don't list on here, insanity workouts is another one.0

I go to a resist a ball class 2 times a week at the Y and it is by far the hardest class I take!! I love it. But I also have a difficult time finding how to log it in my exercise workouts. It includes both work on and off the ball, a lot of circuit training. GREAT CLASS!0
