Upped protein stomach pain

I've recently changed my diet to include more protein and less processed food (low salt and sugar). I've been eating this diet since Monday and today am suffering stomach pains. Could it be related to my diet?

    Protein is hard to digest so it can cause some digestive issues. Get some fiber and lots of water into you!

    Up the fiber! Also, since you made the change super recently - it can take your body a while to process what's going on. Unless the pain is getting super bad, just give it until next week. :) Drink plenty of water and also make sure you're not eating -too- much protein - a lot of people miscalculate how much they actually need.

    digestive enzymes might help as well

    It also may depend what your protein source is.

    Thank you. I've drunk more water and eaten some fibre and seem much better today.
