newbie introducing herself

Hello all

I'm sarah , I'm 38 and overweight!

I've not always been like this but due to having babies and having some health issues and to be honest munching the wrong foods when my kids have gone to bed out of boredom helped me to get where I am today.

I was 340llbs 4 months ago but have lost 44lbs just by cutting out full fat milk and sugar which to be honest was quite hard at first with someone who has a sweet tooth.

I came across this site online and thought “today is the day take my weight loss to another level and get some help and inspiration from people who are in the same boat as me“ so here I am.. Throwing myself in at the deep end and I will not make any excuses why I am like this as I blame myself and its only me who can correct this problem now.

Anyways I want to wish everyone good luck with there goals :)

    Yep, right there with ya! New myself, 35 & 2 little kids.
    Since having kids it's hard. I'm a huge picker. I'm making pb&j & I'll have a pice for me, a bite here & there. I don't work full time so being home a lot makes it hard. I started using the myfitnesspal iPhone app for a week now & lost 5 lbs. So far I'm loving it.

  • I am Connie a 34 year old mother of 5 and grandmother of 2 and yes I am over weight I was at my biggest 230 and now am 187.5 I used to be VERY THIN as a teenager ,but like you life took over when I GAVE BIRTH TO MY OLDEST MY WEIGHT WAS 94LBS ON THE DAY I GAVE BIRTH TO HER AND SHE WAS 7LBS 14OZ so just think how thin I was at one time NO I know THAT I WILL NEVER BE THAT THIN AGAIN but I would like to be thinner than I AM .............SO in short add me If I can help you I will
