horrible foot pain!?

OK so ive tried 3 different pairs of sneakers, with all different insoles and i keep having the same problem. my feet have horrible stabbing pains by the toes and up the side.(like next to the arch) i don't understand! and the other day it was so bad i could barely put any weight on it. i tried googling it but its so hard to explain i couldn't find anything. anyone have any ideas before i resort to having to go to the damn dr? lol

Only with sneakers, not with other shoes?

Also, you'll want to go see a doctor.
  • well the pain usually goes away after a day or so, then i work out and it comes back and no matter what i wear it hurts. i don't do anything high impact bc im ginormous and don't want to break a hip. lol. so i know its not that. :( ugh i freakin hate drs

what you describe is characteristic of a couple of foot situations. ankle pronation (ankle leans inward) and some metatarsal impingment and such.
    but please consult

and assess exactly what condition seems to explain most of your symptoms. I think you need to see a podiatrist and get measured for professional orthotics and possibly wear a night brace on this foot while you deal with the tendonitis associated with this condition. If you're a runner, you'll need to address your gait problems.(whole other subject). Addressing your knees will be next.

you won't find a fix in a shoe store. you got bad feet.
