    I would do some light yoga at home. Lots of stretching and rest.
    Assuming she's ever done yoga before, because that is a really good way to make things worse. Yoga is not easy and it is not injury-free.

    Take the day off, rest until it feels better and go back progressively

    thank you everyone. i decided to skip the gym today and went out and got a heat pack and some bath salts.
