For Women Only, Implanon and Exercise

Hello, ladies, and for any men reading, don't say I didn't warn you. I am on implanon and have been for about a year and a half. For that entire time I think I have had maybe 4 periods. However, I am having one right now and was wondering if exercise can have an influence on it. I have been exercising for approximately 1 month and have had 2 periods. I was just wondering if anyone has had a similar situation. I know that the main reason implanon is removed early is for unpredictable spotting but just thought maybe my exercise has something to do with. Also, with these "episodes" I have severe cramping. I would never use this as an excuse to quit exercising but was just wondering if any other women out there have any input. 8 pounds down, and feeling great. Aside from the cramping and bloating. Lol, just part of being female I guess.

I had the Implanon for over a year with absolutely no bleeding/spotting whatsoever! But as soon as I started eating right, exercising and doing what I needed to do to lose weight, I started random spotting and bleeding (sometimes for weeks at a time). The weird thing for me is that if I am spotting/bleeding and I step on a scale my weight has went down. The day it quits (and everyday after til it starts again) my weight has stayed the same or went up...Like clock work! I hate it and am thinking about having it removed. I have always had painful periods and these are no different.0

I think exercise has an affect on almost every woman's cycle. Some get more frequent, like it sounds you are, while others become more sporadic. It is rather common. Unless you are having sever pain, I would chalk it up to the change in diet and exercise.

I removed implanon 2 days ago. I had it for 2 1/2 years recently in the past 8 months I've changed my eating and exercise 5 days a week , 7 times a week I've only had one period right when it was put in and I've only loss 10 lbs. So I've decide to take it out & see if my weight loss will increase0
