Plateaus Suck -_-

I'm stuuuuuck. -_- Haven't lost any weight in the last month. In fact, according to the scale, I gained 2 lbs.
I'm not weight training so it's not muscle.
I only recently started having "bad days," and there's only been one in particular that went above 1500 cals at all. I've had...I think 4 bad days total since I came back to MFP. Maybe 5.
I started trying to eat less than 1200 to try to compensate, but ***** I'm hungry.

eating less may cause it. make sure your being accurate with measurements and or amounts and all calories taken in, eat what is recommended and keep at it, it will break in time. could it be salt/water retention0

Water retention
TOM?
Eating more than you think
Could be one of the above.0 -
From reading vet posts, 4 weeks is not a plateau.
However, the best way to break a plateau, as I understand it, is to change it up!
Exercise more and eat more. You're hungry so eat. Cardio will let you do that. This isn't supposed to be a personal torture or punishment. A calorie deficit shouldn't make you feel weak or starving. Check your goals, verify your TDEE - 20%, and see if that lets you eat more. And measure your portions carefully. I ~highly~ recommend a kitchen scale.0 -
The scale had not moved for me for almost 2 months. Then I took some measurement and had lost 5ins over all. So if you are exercising that might be it. If not I would bump your food up. I would bump your food up one way or the other. Good luck to you0

I started my journey in March and in June I plateaued for 5 weeks. It was frustrating as I was doing everything the same, but then, my body started to lose weight again. Not sure why, but was VERY happy when it happened!!0

I was stuck for 3 weeks.
Turns out, the closer I got to goal, the less room for error there was.
I was logging exercise calories way off because the machines at the gym over-estimate and I dont have a HRM.
Once I cut my exercise calories in half I kept my intake the same and Ive been dropping a 1lb a week again.
So, it could be that you're not weighing your food correctly, or if you're eating back exercise calories - you might be eating too many.0 -
I don't eat back exercise calories.
How do you screw up a measurement of "2 slices of bread and 2 slices of bologna?"
I measure everything down to the tablespoon.
Eating less doesn't make you gain weight, or else Ethiopians would be huge.
Hoping a good measurement in a couple weeks will clear my plateau. And just because I haven't been stuck for months doesn't mean I'm not stuck.0
