MYTH0 -
Myth (and it made me laugh out loud)
But drinking water is very good.0 -
It's a myth.
Although, drinking ice-cold water means the body has to use a couple of calories to heat it to body temperature :-)0 -
LOL. Steam might be above the melting point of fat, but not warm water.0

I'll sometimes drink hot water if I need a warm drink but don't fancy tea or coffee.0

in for the fun!:flowerforyou:0

Myth.
To reduce "stubborn abdomen fat" you'll have to lower your body fat %.0 -

by eating less, generally.0 -
I certainly understand knee problems (4-1/2 hr ACL replacement/cartilage repair)
I have found that cardio is a necessity to lose weight if you're maintaining the correct calorie intake.
Strength training - for me - typically is a simple exchange: food intake+calories burned = muscle gained. In other words, strength training for me is a zero-sum game, and I will never lose weight simply doing strength - after all, most strength exercises burn very very few calories.
In some of my cardio-intensive workout, I can burn up to 600cal in 40 minutes. In my strength-focused workouts, I can burn as little as 175cal in the same period of time.
You'll need to find cardio-type exercises that you can do with the knee issues. Swim, Zumba, rowing, exercise bike, boxing ... your doctor should be able to recommend activities you can do appropriately and safely. Without cardio, you're typically not going to lose.0 -

how 'approx'? if you're not losing weight its probably because you are eating more than you think.0 -
