Okay so over the summer i had a great four pack because I got to excercise and do workouts daily but now it only shows when I flex really hard. I want to know what I should do to get nice tons six pack. I know I've lost enough weight I'm 112 and 5'8.5". That's not the problem anymore, now I just need to build the muscle in that area. What should I do? Excercise plans? I would love advice to get a six pack! Thanks !

Lower body fat, increase muscle mass. Unfortunately, the 2 are pretty much mutually exclusive.0

go back to what you were doing in the summer0 -
Great abs are not a product of low weight. They are a product of low body fat percentage.0

what is the best way to lower you body fat without lowering your weight?0

what is the best way to lower you body fat without lowering your weight?
Eat at your maintenance levels and lifting weights is the easiest but not the fastest. Most oeople find it faster to eat above maintenenace while lifting weights for a certain period of time to build the muscle quicker then switch over to eating below maintenance to shed the fat they gained while building the muscle. You will most likely see results faster this way but a good deal of people (especially women) do not prefer the bulk/cut cycle. It will be subjective per person on the best way regardless.0 -
hey, a good stomach workout I would recommend is weighted hula hooping, as that tones the whole core..
you look amazing already though0 -

Agreed.
I will add that some low intensity fasted cardio can too, especially when going the first option (recomping).0 -
Weighted abdominal exercises, 8-15 reps.0

You will not get man-anything. You don't have enough testosterone for that.0 -

Try getting a bosu ball, hold a weight/ medicine ball in your hands in front of your face and plant your feet. Lay on the ball, extend all the way back til the back of your head touches the floor on the other side then sit your self up, make sure to engage your abs and not just rotate around your hips. 3x10 sets. last set hurts like f**k if you do it right0 -
What are six pack abs? Haha! Maybe one day I'll get them if I get my bodyfat percentage down low enough.
I think all you need to do is get your bodyfat % low enough. Most people already have abs, you just have a layer of fat covering them up. Somewhere around 8-12% bodyfat should get you pretty close.
Whenever I finally get to that point I'm making a big gigantic post about it because I've never had six pack abs before in my life.
Good luck to you, looks like you're just about there already!0 -
thanks for posting the question. I really got a lot out of the discussion.0

Lower your body fat % will show them and lifting ideally with deads and squats give you plenty to show off.
Don't waste time with any crunches, sit ups, and the like. Probably one of the biggest waste of time for time invested.0 -
I have been looking around for workout programs to have great six pack abs too. Until I found these great workout programs from exerciseaholics.com. All workout routines here do really work. Check it out now!0

Situps alone won't get you 6-pack abs, but neither will diet alone. And 3-5 sets of situps while holding a plate/medicine ball/whatever can be done in 5 minutes.0 -
