Hi,

have been logging for three weeks continuously now!

I started doing the 30 Day Shred (Jillian Michaels) two and a half weeks ago, food logging at 1200 - 1400 (including calories burned by exercise), pilates for werght loss and spinning once a week.

I lost 4 pounds, but now have put 3 back on??? I don't understand!

Dopes anyone have any advice??? I feel so disgusting...and I have an engagement party in two weeks which i was trying to get back into my dress for!

your body will store water when you start a new program. It's just water weight you gained. You can't gain fat unless you eat a surplus of calories. by the way with only 10 pounds to lose your account should be set at 1/2 pound per week and you should eat some exercise calories or set your account to lightly active and do not eat exercise caloies

A fluxuation like that can be caused by hormones or even if you had some extra sodium yesterday. If you're absolutely sure that you have been tracking your calories correctly and that your calorie burn estimates are right, then there is no possible way you gained 3lb of body fat.

Drink some extra water, have a BM, and in a few days I'm sure those extra pounds will be history.

    Thanks guys

I drink about 10 cups f water, plus herbal teas, a day.

BMs are pretty irregular atm - about 1, 2 a week (sorry for TMI)... I'm just losing the will!!! It keeps going up and up and I'm trying so hard!!!!!!!

Could be high this week due to salt intake, or maybe that irregularity, or maybe it's that part of your cycle. I tend to gain for AuntFlo's visit every time, no matter how great I been doing. But then, I let it destroy me... Don't do that! You know you have been making progress, keep doing what you have been doing, eat more fiber and keep drinking that water :drinker:
