I add lots of frozen fruit, strawberries, peaches, blueberries, mixed berries, banana, pineapple. I use 2% milk, you can lower this. I call this my ice cream with out the calories. It is filling and so delicious. I use Whey Protein, vanilla or chocolate or chocolate peanut butter. I like it lumpy.

Bumping. I use PB2 and banana too. But I'm going to try some of these listed ideas... Might make the stuff bearable!

Just Vanilla flavoured protein powder and soy milk :o)
Used to use Almond milk but had problems with reaching calories, plus soy milk has more protein in it too.
I don't drink cows milk (don't like the taste) but having it in the powder works fine for me.

To 2 scoops protein mix, I add unsweetened almond milk (1/2 cup = 15 calories), and ice just to make it thick and cold.

Love this board! So many yummy ideas! My s.o thinks I should just suck a shake down plain - just pp and water . . . I don't think so!
  • Though I don't do this anymore, adding some ff,sf pudding mix + almond milk + banana = amazing! (pistachio, cheesecake etc) Tastes like cake batter and I used to go crazy adding sprinkles haha.

Mint + greek yogurt + almond milk + dark choc pieces + avocado= mint chip!

Love to add pumpkin/sweet potato + spices + dates

Beets make them look super pretty and love to do a sunrise shake w/ carrots/orange/banana. Could add some kale/spinach/zucchini (you wont taste it).

Hemp seeds, chia seeds, sunbutter, almond butter, peanut butter, flax seeds, avocado, coconut, for the fat.

To vanilla whey I add cinnamon or instant coffee sometimes. My whey tastes very good plain though.

Jersey milk and double cream *swoon* A spoon of coffee is also nice in vanilla or chocolate shakes for a bit of a kick

I just use chocolate flavored and do it with milk. That is not very jazzy but whatever, it's basically like chocolate milk but with more protein. Who doesn't like chocolate milk?

I simply add 1 tablespoon of a sugar free pudding (dry) which adds very little calories. some days i feel like chocolate, some days i feel like cheesecake, or even butterscotch. using a plain vanilla flavored protein mix doesnt affect the taste much at all and i have to have variety or i get bored and fall off of plan.

Almond milk, flax seed, blackberries, blueberries and raspberries is really good.

Or Almond milk, chocolate protein, banana and a spoonful of peanut butter.

Since I'm on a low carb diet, I just use very cold water and mix well.

I'm drinking one right now- mine is protein powder (chocolate) with fat-free vanilla yogurt, skim milk, some crushed ice (and here's the bad part) a squirt of hershey's syrup. On extra special days I'm particularly naughty and put a spoonful of nutella in it. :)
