NutriBullet Juice Extractor

Hey everyone! I got a NutriBullet Extractor for my birthday from my mum-in-law, as we both wanted to do a juice cleanse. I was wondering if anyone has used one before or has one? What are some of your favorite combinations? Is it worth having this versus a regular juicer?

I have one but it is not a juicer, more like a smoothie/pulverizes everything maker. I love it though.
ETA: it's like a powerful blender , simply put.0 -
I don't have a nutri bullet, I have a juicer, but I think you could use some of the same combinations in either. The nutri bullet will make a thicker, more 'pulpy' mixture because the fiber is still there.
Having said that, I like a combination of a beet, couple of stalks of celery, couple of carrots, an apple, 1/2 a cucumber and a couple of handfuls of spinach.0 -
I've been using one since Jan & it's helped me to lose 47 lbs. I don't follow recipes when making mine...just vary my veggies & fruits. More then finding what I like, I've found what I don't like. There's only been about 2 or 3 that were horrible...trial & error. One thing I almost always do is add one or two, usually two, frozen fruits for sweetness & cold....makes it taste good & palatable...almost always. Drinks are smoothie texture...never pulpy...but thick as opposed to using an actual juicer which gives you only the juice from the vegetable or fruit.0

I LOVE my NutriBullet  I isn't a juicer though - a juicer leave all the fiber behind (well, mine did! LOL) I MUCH prefer drinking the food i buy as opposed to tossing it in the compost :ohwell:
when i want something light : cucumber, pineapple, coconut water, kale, flax seeds
when i want something sturdier: almond/coconut milk, frozen berries, kale or spinach, flax seed
there are SO many possibilities though :bigsmile:0 -
I have one, its a nice upgrade from the magic bullet my only complaint is its harder to get the lid off because its larger than the magic bullet so its hard to get a good grip on when the lids stuck0

Thank you all for the replies!
I like that the texture is a bit thicker than regular juice. I am trying to replace 1 meal a day right now, and perhaps move in to 2 meals? I don't think this is such a bad goal as I plan on doing 5 small meals a day. Thanks for the ideas, and I 'm glad I'm not the only one who got one!
