A powerful reason = great results

Hi all Im Jim, a qualified fitness instructor, ex-military (Airborne), bodybuilder and fitness author.

Why am I here?

I have been a personal trainer and fitness instructor and had clients that paid me a lot of money week after week in the hope that their 1 – 2 hour weekly training session would help them to get in the best shape of their life.
I know a lot of other trainers would just let this happen and take the money in exchange for a few words of encouragement and a bit of time.

But this was something that really frustrated me to the point that potential clients would come to me looking to be a part of it and I would put them off. I found that many people would see a personal trainer as a “Magic pill”.

I learned that you could have the best trainer in the world but if you didn’t put in the work, you wouldn’t get the results. I also learned that if someone wants a fitness goal bad enough, they just need a bit of guidance.

As a coach, you cannot give someone a reason powerful enough to make them succeed; this has to come from the client. I believe that I wanted some of my clients to get good results more than they did.

This is why I now specialise in self-help. Over the last year I decided to start writing books on fitness and fat loss for beginners.
This is a great community and I have noticed that everyone is very positive and supportive so I’m here to offer my support and share my experiences.

So feel free to add me, I’m a friendly guy and always willing to help out where I can.
Good luck all 

Yeah, the "Light bulb moment"! I (Like that) :-) is where the major weight loss success stories come from, these are the ones that I really love to see and almost 100% of them are the result of realising that:

"You have to want and you have to own"

haha, I’m a big fan of pinning up motivational quotes when I’m training or dieting for something, really awesome tool in my opinion

Good to meet you all, thanks for the adds!
