Smoking Vs. Eating

I weighed 185 with 6% body fat and played college football 12 years ago. I began smoking after football ended and eating very badly. Well I quit smoking cold turkey 2 1/2 years ago at weight of 245. Since then I have ballooned up to 264 and have realized that it is much more difficult to eat right, than it is to quit smoking.
I have purchased powerblocks dumbbells, a stationary bike,a treadmill, and will utilize the outdoors when possible. I hope to lose 10 pounds by thanksgiving, thats a small goal to start with.

Congrats on quiting smoking, you are doing great. At least you are not filling your precious lungs up with smoke and you will live. Relax sweetie congrats on getting started with your program on getting fit. You are a winner!!!!! Yes you are, Pat yourself on the back for the each pounds you have lost, and even if you haven't lost a pound pat yourself on the back for trying. You are doing great. Angel eyes0
