Whey & Soy Protein Currently - Advice on Meal Replacements

Hi everyone. I started my health and fitness journey a month and a half ago and was implementing Slim Fast as a breakfast and lunch meal replacement. I noticed some of the ingredients one day and nixed that product. The next thing I tried was a Kroger brand whey and soy protein chocolate flavored drink mix. I'm slowly but surely figuring things out with these mixes. I'd like to see your thoughts on this product...or if there's another product you'd recommend that is AFFORDABLE. I've found some excellent, very clean, mixes but I just can't afford them. So I'm trying to stick <$15 for a tub that'll last me maybe a couple weeks...or more but that's not realistic. Anyways, this product has:

25g protein, 120 cal, 90mg sodium, 4g carbs, 1g sugars

whey protein isolate, whey protein concentrate, soy protein isolate, cocoa powder, natural flavors, soy lecithin, sucralose

Should be fine to boost your protein intake if you are finding it hard to hit your macro targets from food. I wouldn't advise using it as a meal replacement though as it isn't a meal, it's just some protein.

I am just not skilled in all of this, it's all so new to me. I had a hunch it wasn't a meal replacement. A meal replacement is really what I was interested in to take the guess work out of things for most of the day. Any suggestion on one?

Also forgot to mention if it is of any importance...I am working out minimum 3x/week, and have put myself on a 1200 calorie diet.

I know absolutely nothing about meal replacement shakes. If you search online there are probably a lot to choose from, but I suppose you don't really know what you are buying. Other people on here will probably know something more than me.
