Help!

I'm recovering from sciatica - pinched nerves in my lower left back and hip, and I'm struggling with how to begin a new exercise routine as I'm healing. Prior to this summer, i lost over 40lbs, and with lack of regular exercise this summer and eating really crappy, I've gained just over 15lbs back:(. Where do I start?! I'm so eager to get back into it!!

    Hi hun, if you want you can add me as a friend I am on here everyday and eat pretty clean, maybe you can take a look at my meals and get some ideas....

    Start with your diet. Get that under control them just introduce some gentle exercise maybe walking or swimming. As a former sciatica suffered I'd recommend swimming.

    I had a recent bout with excruciating pain in my SI joint .I weight lift and should have stopped but just powered trough the pain.I regretted that,I can tell you.I went online and looked for some SI joint stretches .I found a yoga site with some good stretches and did them 2 to 3 times a day and added walking to that about midweek.I am back to lifting albeit a little bit lighter and so far so good
