I am VERY sad to hear of her death!!! May she rest in peace!!! If any of you were like me (a huge Golden Girls fan), then I am sure this will hurt your heart a little too!!

    I've watched family & family friends suffer w/Alzheimers. It's a blessing when they pass. :heart:

    LOVED Golden Girls too.

    Ohh no! This is the first time I hear of the news...I had read that she was in poor health about a month ago. So sad...she was so funny on golden girls and I have a soft spot for little old ladies like her. She'll be missed I'm sure.

    I loved her too! I sometimes threaten my parents that I will send them to Shady Pines haha :blushing:

    I would have loved to have her as a grandmother! I couldn't believe when I read that she was as old as the other gals.

    I didn't know about this! How sad! I was just talking about her the other day as well...my family and I went to New Jersey for a mini vacation. We stopped at a deli for lunch, and I HAD to get a chocolate egg cream because Sophia talked about having a chocolate egg cream all the time and I wanted to know what an egg cream was!

    I'm watching ET and they did a segment on her.
    My mother and I are huge fans of the Golden Girls. We would laugh till we cried.

    OH NO! I just heard the news! Golden Girls is my all-time favorite tv sitcom! I still watch it religiously to this day. This is so sad, but I know that this is for the best given her condition. :cry: :sad: :cry: :sad:
