New at marathon/fun runs, question about bringing bags...

So I have to commute to this color run since it's an hour away from my house and I don't have a car so I have to bring a bag with me to put water, clothes, towel, money in. But i don't think I'll have fun running with a backpack on me, are there any other solutions to this?

Some races have a bag check area for registered participants, maybe check the race info online to see if they offer it? Good luck!0

I run with a backpack when I have to--not too many opportunities to check a bag at the small races/fun runs I attend. Would love to hear ideas.0

I agree. Maybe you could catch a ride with someone? Do you know someone else that's going, too? OR...you could stow only your needed stuff in a plastic shopping bag and pitch it when you're done...or find a little hiding place somewhere. I've heard color runs are more about the fun factor than a real run, so you may not need as much stuff as you think. And I hear music is out unless you have a waterproof system or don't want it getting ruined.0

bag check or make sure you don't care if your backpack gets ruined
but honestly, most Color Runs are jammed packed with thousands of people, there's not much running. Its an -untimed event and if you want to be "colored" at all the different stations, you will be mostly walking.
just go and enjoy.0
