I realize most of us are on here to lose weight. To be succesful we have to change our eating habits and our exercise habits. It shouldn't stop there. I can't be the only one that has turned to food for one reason or another. If we don't fix those problems then it is only a matter pf time before our old habits resurface. My problem is trusting. I'm in a relationship that has a lot of problems and even though I love him, I'm scared we aren't the perfect fit. We don't see eye to eye on so many things. I need the motivation and strength to figure things out. I'm 37 and I need to take control in my life, even if it means losing the person I'm with. Any advice?

Have you spoken to your partner about your feelings? Maybe some couples counselling or just sitting together and discussing where you think you're going might help. I don't know what your issues are but fixing the problem might not necessarily mean splitting up altogether.
And you are definitely not the only person who turns to food when things go wrong...!!0
