I have tried myfitness pal in past and it worked I just did not stick with it long. I need support from others out there to continue. I am 27 years old. I have two kids (age 2 and 4 mo) I am currently breastfeeding and would love to hear from others who are breastfeeding and using this program. I am unsure how many extra calories I need a day. Any support from anyone out there would be helpful! I am currently 145 and would like to get to 135.

Hi Amy,
I obviously and not breastfeeding, but I can offer you support regarding staying motivated about my fitness pal. I have been here for a few months and have lost almost 20 pounds while on here. 36.5 pounds since I started dieting (4 months ago). If you want a support friend, send me a friend request. I am on here several times a day. Congrats on your new baby.

Hi there! I am breastfeeding and started the program a week ago. I love the accountability and support. You can see the additional calories you can consume for breastfeeding by entering in "breastfeeding" when your tracking your food. It will give you additional calories. Feel free to friend me if you'd like. We can help each other. You took the first step by joining MFP again. Congratulations!0
