I really love drinks e.g coke, ice tea etc, I recently stopped drinking diet coke, because I was getting alot of headaches and stuff, and after I stopped drinking it, the headaches have completly gone. Its just me not saying that happens to everyone before a debate starts going on quoting what I have said here lol. I really love the fizzyness of a drink, but I hate fixxy water. What can I replace this with? I am trying to limit carbs to 100g per day or less, but its not going vry well.

My aunt was a coke/pepsi junkie... she did have those headaches. When she stopped completely, she got soooo sick! Like a withdraw... But got better after a week. She says she doesn't miss it....

I like some fizzy drinks as well... but only a good "Perrier" or "San Pellegrino" with natural lemon....

When I cut out the diet coke, I also flt very VERY bad for about 4 days, I thought wow, what is going my body was totaly hooked on the stuff, I was drinking 1 or 2, mostly 2 500ml bottles throughout the day. It was like a buzz. Now, I dont miss the diet coke, but I like having a nice drink with my meal.

Find something else that is "special" that you like to drink.
I like green tea, and now am trying different recipes for cold green tea to switch it up. Also water with lemon, mint, lime is great in a huge pitcher. Grab whenever you need.

Diet drinks contain artificial sweeteners, which are known headache/migraine triggers. Try plain ol soda. Not diet. You still get your fizzy, but without the horrible chemical problems. =)

It's caffeine withdrawal. If you want a carbonated drink, try sparkling or mineral water with a slice of fruit such as lemon or lime.
