Women: 'Body By You' book. Anyone using this?

Hullo boards new member here. Only been tracking with MFP for a week but amazed at how useful it is! 5lbs down ...ooh lots more to go. But that's an aside.

Just wondering if anyone here uses the book Body By You?
It's the women's version of You Are Your Own Gym which provides a fitness programme using bodyweight instead of kit or machines.

I've just ordered it and wondered if anyone has any tips, suggestions, cautions or general feedback on their own progress with it!?

    Hi

    Welcome! :flowerforyou:

I received the book yesterday. My plan is to read the book thoroughly then start the programme at the beginning of January.

i thought "you are your own gym" wasn't gender specific, i.e. it's aimed at men and women and works for either gender

    Thanks for the welcome!

I'm looking forward to receiving my copy, should be here in a couple of days.
I think it's a good idea to read it through first to get an idea of how the programme progresses and what to expect, I'll do that too.

I'm not sure as I haven't actually looked at You Are Your Own Gym too closely, but the cover only shows a man and there's no mention of women in the subtitle so I guess I passed over it to the women specific volume.

I THINK the difference is that BBY has smaller graduations between the exercises.
