Day after a "big day"?

So yesterday I went over my goal by about 400cal. I do nto have a lot to lose (4kg) and I am set at 0.25kg per week and 1600 net cal a day.
Today I do not feel like eating much. my planned meals and sport net me at about 1400kcal.
Is it ok to eat less today or shall I try to always eat the same and definitely eat my daily cal?
Thanks for advice

If you stick to your plan for a few days it will probably all even itself out. It happens. That's why it's a long term goal.0

400 cals isn't a big day at all, but it's likely that you were still below or close to maintenance cals, so no need to do anything today0 -

Right thanks. But is it ok to "undereat" at 1400 cal as I am not hungry? Or shall I try eat my 1600 cal anyway?
Thanks

LULZ at being over by 400 a "big day" My average is plus or minus 200- but I have days when I'm literally DOUBLE my goal. I can EASILY eat 3000-3500 calories. No big thing. LOL- seriously- don't sweat it.
Think of it as a GENERAL trend line- the days create the average- and the average trendline down creates the weight loss.
so if you are a little over on one day it's not that serious- and if you are a little under on another day- it's not that serious.
Always AIM for hitting your goal. But don't' go nuts if you are plus or minutes 500 in a day.0 -
Your body doesn't work on a day by day basis... look at weekly averages instead.0

You are better than me When I have my binge periods I simply do not log anymore... last 8 weeks were like that and bam, 3 kg more... so starting over and trying to be careful again0
