I followed the road map explained on this post

http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/912920-in-place-of-a-road-map-3-2013?hl=road+map

so according to this my BMR based on the Harris-Benedict Formula is 1447

I run Tues, Wed, Thursday and Saturday, Saturday is my long run since I am training for a half marathon. I do not workout on Monday and on the other days I try to do another workout. Also on Tues Wed and Thursday since it is a short run I am trying to incorporate some weight training (light) ( have not been too successful at incorporating this yet)

so according to this my TDEE would be

Lightly Active (light exercise/sports 1-3 days/wk) 1990
Moderately Active (moderate exercise/sports 3-5 days/wk) 2243

Based on the number above I set my calories on MFP to to 2243 -20% = 1794 but I have set MFP to 1700.

I started this two weeks ago and since than I believe I have gained 1 or 2lbs.

What am I doing wrong? is this normal to gain once you set the TDEE? maybe I am not working out hard enough? or eating too much? I do not want to gain weight I still have 24lbs that I need to loose.

I am at a point right now that I want to give up. Please if you have nothing nice or constructive to say do not comment.

Thanks

My opinion is this: If you are gaining weight consistently then you are eating too much. That small amount of weight could be normal fluctuation, but if it doesn’t come off within the next 2-3 weeks I would re-evaluate your calorie goal or examine your logging practices to make sure you are accurately accounting for everything you are consuming.
