Need help: Anyone else have problems with the weekends?

Ok, so over the past few weeks I have logged EVERYTHING (literally every drop, bite, lick, taste) and it appears that I do pretty good staying around my calories (1400-1500/day) during the week, but on the weekends, I use a lot more. The obvious solution is to scale back on the weekends, which I plan on doing.
However, I wanted to know if anyone does a plan where you eat so many calories a week instead of just counting by day? or reduce your daily calories during the week and up them on the weekend type thing? if so, how much do you normally reduce daily during the week to add to the weekend? or do you just allow yourself a little extra (like X amount extra, but no more) on the weekends without reducing the daily calories during the week? does it seem to work or help??

You could try doing this for yourself: every weekday, you are gonna eat 100 calories less than you are supposed to, so on Saturday and Sunday you have 250 more calories to eat.0

If I go over my calories on the weekends but am still under for the week, I consider this a win.0

I hope there's some good advice on this topic. I also do very good during the week and on weekends I seem to want to eat everything in sight. I try to keep busy but there's still times when I sit to watch TV and want to eat. I read in another post about eating sunflower seeds, so I'm going to try that and also sit on the stationary bike and slowly peddle while I'm watching TV. That's my plan for this weekend, I hope it works0

I struggle with weekends also...but I find that if I have been good all week and stay just a little under during the weekdays, then I can go over a little over the weekends.
It seems to be working fine.0 -
the body does not reset every day at midnight for calories, so going by the overall week it should not matter too much. That said, I would say it depends on how far over you tend to go on the weekend? If you're consistently binging on the weekend then it points to the area you need to gain control, if you're going over by a a hundred or two then that is probably ok.
For me it is about maintaining a balance every day no matter where I'm at or what day it is.0 -
I don't worry too much day to day, just as long as I'm good week to week. For weekends, I workout extra during the week in order to have spare calories on the weekend. I also try to fit in a workout during the weekend for even more calories. If your just eating out of boredom rather then hunger, I find drinking water all day long can help with that.0

My problem with the weekends is that they never seem long enough?0

I have the opposite issue (I get free homecooked food on the job), that said I would look into how much you eat and workout the entire week - and don't sweat it if you have to skip a meal or even two. Tried that, it didn't kill me.0
