Ok, so I haven't been on the site in a while. It seems to have been one thing or another for me. I lost some weight, but ended up gaining 9 lbs overall.

I'm trying to jumpstart myself back on track. My plan is to do a cleanse and drink tons of water, eat protein and vegetables, and I downloaded an app where you work out intensely for 7 minutes. I'll do the circuit 3 times a day. I'm planning to cut my calories down to under 1000/day to start with, then I'll slowly add more. I'll stay under 1200 permanently, though, unless I start doing more working out wise.

Is that a pretty sound plan?

What is your height and weight? Because less than 1200 calories is really really low unless you are super short. I have lost 25 pounds eating a net 1500-1600 calories and I am 5'6 and 150 currently.

Also, I have chronic pain in my legs, which makes finding the right workout really hard. I need to do cardio, but everything leaves me in horrible pain. Muscle toning exercises don't bother me as much, but they aren't very effective without the cardio.

I noticed my pain getting a lot worse lately, When I stepped on the scale and saw the weight gain, I was pretty sure that's what's making me hurt worse. It's like a catch-22...gain weight, hurt worse. Work out, hurt worse. :(

I would eat more than 1200, aim for about 1400, its a lot easier to stick too, and youll feel less miserable/hungry.
Plus, lots of protien is goood
