The color of your plate matters

I just came across this study and thought I would share it with the MFP community. I'm sure many of you have heard that an easy way to control portion sizes is to eat on a smaller plate (if you are trying to eat less) because the plate looks more full with less food.
Well apparently, if your plate has a high contrast in color with your food, you are more likely to serve yourself less. The opposite is true as well, so if you want easily trick your brain into eating more green veggies, eat off of green plates!
