    I loooove How I Met Your Mother and Big Bang Theory! I usually pick about 2-3 shows to watch each season and only watch those so that I don't become a huge couch potato. We don't even have cable service (not even basic channels!) at my house, I watch all my TV online. That cuts out the mindless watching, big time. In addition to HIMYM and BBT, I like 30 Rock, Chuck, and Leverage. I used to watch Scrubs and the Office, but I think both shows went downhill so they got cut! Also, I'll occasionally watch seasons of older shows on Netflix. I really like the British comedies The IT Crowd and Coupling.

    I always liked watching Coach. Hayden Fox just cracks me up. I can't even find it on DVD.

    Only TV on at the gym is CNN and ESPN. Don't really watch much TV outside of that...but when I do get a chance I love True Blood, Boardwalk Empire, Chuck, and Burn Notice. When I get time I like The Office and some other funny shows as well, but I usually only get to catch them on my phone via Hulu when I am stuck waiting somewhere.

    Dexter is my number one fav, and I have a lifelong hard time picking my fav or anything
    but as my first post showed, I like/liked a lot of shows

    That is a really good idea! I doubt my fiance would ever be up for it, but choosing only a few shows each season to watch is a good approach.
