I have a very stubborn belly pooch!

I dont know what to do. About 3-4 days a week i do roughly 30 -40 minutes of cardio and then I do some ab exercises for 10mminutes then some butt and upper leg exercises for about 10mminutes, is this enough? I really want a flat stomach and eat quite healthily and I just cant get rid of a small lower belly fat - I think its fat anyway....

You get rid of fat by eating at a deficit. Exercise won't do it.

As long as your losing inches and/or lb's, you just have to wait. You can do exercises to tone and tighten, but that belly fat will go just like the rest of it. Time and patience is the key. It's usually the last thing to go.

Abs are made in the kitchen ...count those cals, lower that body fat and do some core work. Give it time.

If you want to get rid of that pooch, you have to try to retain as much muscle as possible while losing weight. Eat a fair deficit to lose weight and do some strength training to retain muscle. The best strength training exercises with weights are compound movements like squats, overhead press, deadlifts, rows, etc. Keep isolation movements to a minimum and put it at the end of your workout because they are no where as important as compound movements.

Sounds like stubborn body fat, if possible cardio on a empty in the morning and hold off your carbs(potato, rice, breads not green leafy vegetables) to the evening.

^^ I like his idea better. Slowly but surely, my stomach is giving into abs. Patience is key!
