I havnt been doing physical exercise for two years. So now that I get back into it I did that in struggling with something that idk if it's normal or not. I am ovbiously overweight. So my problem is that for like a week or toe I do great exercising! I'm up early run two miles go to work come home exercise lightly before dinner then repeat all week. Then by the end of the week or two weeks there is one day where I seriously am physically exhausted. I'll lay in bed and sleep the whole day away! I want to get up, but this isn't just a lazy thing. In not being lazy I'm just seriously exhausted. My body aches and I can't keep my eyelids open. What a I doing that makes me this way!?! Is this normal!?! Help?

too much! You need rest days.... when I was doing cardio (blech) - I had 2 rest days in my week. Now that I do weight lifting - I only do that 3x a week... I like it that way0

Are you eating enough for your activity level? Calculate your TDEE and subtract 20% for your daily caloric intake. Take rest days and eat whole foods.

OMG YES!!! Although I've never taken a break from working out in a few years, my schedule has changed drastically and won't go back to normal until December 15th - if I can survive that long.
Therefore, I aim to work out 5-6 days a week and make them high intensity or extremely worthwhile lifting sessions. If I only work out 4 days a week because I'm LEGIT too exhausted and not just making excuses I'm fine with that. but then those days I do try to be more active at home and definitely eat a lot less.0 -
Make sure you're eating enough (perhaps try a smaller deficit) and try to take a rest day every week. You should feel more energized by doing these two things. Good luck!0

Thanks everyone for your input! I will watch my calories closer because I know somedays I didn't eat enough! I'm going to also have more than one rest day! Sunday was my rest day but I'll try Wednesday & Sunday and see how I do! Thanks everyone!0
