    Skydive.

Skydiving was awesome. :) I've never been more terrified in my life right before my half-concenting jump out of that plane (thank goodness I was tandem so my instructor could do the jumping for me), but once you leave the plane, it's just peaceful and amazing, since there's no choice left. It would take some convincing to do it again, but I'm glad I did. :)

There's a recent Reddit AMA from a skydiver, who talks about how the most errors are with people who get cocky and jump on their own above their skill level, not first-timers. The risk (really relatively low) might just be worth it if this is a big enough dream.

I bungee jumped when I was in New Zealand. I loved it and would liked to have done it again. I did immediately think skydiving would be great. I just don't know if with my 2 little kids I can convince myself to jump out of a plane, yet. If failure wasn't even an option I think I would make it a whole family activity.
  • Special Forces or Rangers.... No wait; I'm already gonna try that.... Combat Applications Group, then eat 10.6445425 waffles. I would eat waffles and go blue... Blue is awesome.

Edited to say I meant to quote you, @lilred:

Yeah, I definitely hear that. I did it when I'd just gotten out of a long-term relationship and felt more free to. Now, married, I have no desire to take that risk again.
